Ramji Board and Paper Mills to Add 60 TPD By January 2018

“Packaging Paper's demand is growing multi folds. Kraft paper manufacturing is seemed to be profitable in the current scenario forcing us to expand.Currently we are manufacturing 40 TPD kraft paper but now have decided to add more 60 TPD to reach 100 TPD level.” exclusively disclosed by Mr. Lalit Garg, Managing Director of Ramji Board and Paper Mills to The Pulp and Paper Times.

According to the research report, the global aseptic paper packaging market is expected to be worth US$13,611.0 mn by the end of 2025 as it makes a steady climb from about US$8,894.8 mn in 2017. Between 2017 and 2025, the global market is estimated to surge at a CAGR of 5.5%. In terms of paper, the coated unbleached paper is expected to make significant impression on the global market as it rises at a CAGR of 5.8% during the forecast period. In terms of geography, Asia Pacific is slated to emerge as the leading market as the food and beverages industry shows an accelerated growth rate. During the forecast period of 2017 and 2025, the Asia Pacific aseptic paper packaging market is slated to exhibit a CAGR of 6.2%.

“We are expected to achieve the 100 TPD level by the end of January 2018. We are aiming to undergo some modification in plant and machinery to achieve the extra 60 TPD productions.

Currently we are producing 80 to 150 GSM paper and BF is 14. Finished product will be used in packaging. Our machine deckle will remain same to 2.54 metre (finished).” informed by Mr. Garg.
