Radheshyam Paper is going to increase production capacity upto 300 TPD by end of 2016

Morbi, April, 15, 2016: To combat the increasing demand of packaging sector Radheshyam Paper Mills has planned to increase its production capacity to 300 TPD (tonnes-per-day). Exclusively intimating the expansion plan of paper mill to The Pulp and Paper Times Mr. Chirag Kanabar, Director of Radheshyam Paper Mill told that “We will execute the expansion plan in two phases. Currently, we are operating at 120 TPD to which we have to extend. We have installed 2nd paper machine supplied by Saloni Engineers, it will enhance the production capacity from 120 to 150 TPD by the end of July or first week of August of 2016 in first phase.” “2nd phase will add another 150 TPD production capacity taking it to 300 TPD by Nov or Dec 2016. We will produce 120 GSM to 300 GSM (16 BF to 25 BF) packaging paper. The speed of existing machine is 120 to 250 meter/min and 2nd paper machine‘s installed speed is 350 meter/min and deckle size is 3.7 meter.” Mr.  Chirag added.

The expansion will use 100% waste paper as raw material. “We will source the waste paper both from Indian and overseas markets depend on the quality of finished paper. It could be 50%-50% mix of waste paper.” told to TPPT. The paper mill is initially targeting domestic market to sale its finished paper.

On the question of investment Mr. Chirag revealed that “we are investing around 22 to 25 Cr to be arranged from own resources and other financial entities. Mr. Chirag also informed that high ply bond paper productions are also in pipeline with 100 TPD production capacity. Ply bond paper’s production will commence after completion of first phase expansion. This high ply paper will have use in making of cones and other paper applications.
