Advantageously located, a new paper mill is all set to roll kraft paper in Madhya Pradesh

The increasing consumer consciousness regarding sustainable packaging, as well as the strict regulations imposed by various environmental protection agencies (regarding the use of environment-friendly packaging products) are the factors driving the market for paper packaging. The rapid growth of online shopping and delivery-on-demand services has fueled the usage of cardboard and paper-based bags.

“Environment-friendly packaging solutions have become a norm rather than an exception for the packaging companies worldwide. The profound change in corporate standards, governmental policies, trade regulations, and consumer tastes have led to a paradigm shift toward eco-friendly solutions in the packaging market,” Said Mr. Govind Jindal, Director at Parkmill Industries Pvt. Ltd., a soon to be started new paper mill.

Situated at Malanpur Industrial Area near Gwalior region, MP, Parkmill Industries can take advantage for its strategic location, “There is no paper mill within the 300 KM radius of our paper mill, and we have in and around lots of mustard oil companies those required paper packaging, we can provide quality paper to corrugators in this region. Our aim is to establish a name among traders and corrugators as a quality paper supplier”

The new paper mill is targeting to manufacture paper in the range of 180 to 250 GSM under 14 to 22 BF. “We are planning to undergo trials on the machine in December. We have 100 TPD installed capacity which can produce up to 150 TPD,” informed Mr. Rohit Goyal, an authorized person.

Parkmill Industries has opted for the largest deckle size of 4.4 meters. “We left no stone unturned in setting up a state-of-the-art paper mill. We bought the paper machine from NKR Engineers, we took boiler from IBL, a Pulp mill from Parason Machinery, and a Scanner from Jasch.
