Dhar | 9th October 2021 | The Pulp and Paper Times:

Paper Industry is a core industry that plays a vital role in the economic growth of our country. The industry is expected to grow in the range of 12-15% in the coming year due to increased economic activities. Subsequently, more than 75% of the paper industry producing packaging paper and board is also expected to witness a high growth opportunity.

“Consumer awareness concerning eco-friendliness, sustainability, replacement of plastic, rise of e-commerce and growth in retail are again big boosters for the demand of packaging paper and paper board. Indian paper mills are investing and would be required to invest more in the capacity building and technology up-gradation of their facilities to address the demand growth.” Exclusively said by Mr. Virendra Patel, Managing Director of new started paper mill, INCOHUB Papers Pvt. Ltd.

Situated in an Industrial area at Pithampur dist: Dhar in Madhya Pradesh, Incohub Papers started its paper production in July 2021, “we are very glad to have become associated with Indian Paper Industry which is growing remarkably. Despite the pandemic impediment, the paper industry manages to survive in this tough time only because the paper is a responsible material and first & foremost option to replace single-use plastic in the country” said Mr. Patel.

“We have invested INR 42 crores in the land, building, and machinery in order to produce a quality paper for carton and box production in and around Madhya Pradesh. We are being appreciated by the corrugators for emerging as a prominent and trusted paper manufacture in the region; we have an installed capacity of 150 to 160 tones-a-day, but currently achieving the production level around 140 to 150 TPD.” He said.

INCOHUB Papers is manufacturing heavy GSM paper under 150 to 250 range while BF bracket is 18 to 32 suitable for box manufacturing. The finished deckle of the machine is 4.2 meters.

The growing environmental concerns to use recyclable and degradable packages have led to a rise in the demand for Kraft papers. Kraft papers have a rising trend of manufacturing it through natural recycling which has though lesser strength than virgin natural craft paper, but it is more eco-friendly and still has enough strength to fill void applications.

“We have bought a double wire plant and machinery from DS Pulp and Paper, while the entire Pulp Mill section has been procured from Parason Machinery. The waste water treatment plant has been installed by Ishan Paryavaran Pvt. Ltd.” he informed.

The new paper mill is absorbing all its production in local market, “right now there is no plan to export the paper” Mr. Patel Said. Incohub Papers is already having 1500 to 2000 tons of orders in hand.

Paper mill has also installed a 12-ton boiler bought from Industrial Boilers Limited. Paper Mill imported all wire part sections from Germany. “We can achieve the maximum capacity of 200 TPD by adding a few dryers in the future as we have a sole plate machine,” He said.
