Zero Liquid Discharge - A need of the Hour

Industrial Waste Water Pollution is increasing in severe manner and as the demand is increasing, more and more production output fetches more fresh water and generates larger amount of waste water. In India, where natural resources such as potable ground water is depleting drastically due to high population load and industrial requirement, one has to think and save fresh water for next generation. The discharge load of the industrial waste water into the natural rivers is acquiring major percentage of pollution load. In this connection and on occasion of ‘World Environment Day’, Paques Environmental a leading waste water treatment solution provider took a welcome step and organises a technical and networking event for the Pulp & Paper industry, where technologies and knowledge was shared in collaboration with Paper Manufacturers Association. Paques Environmental specifically addressed technical questions on how to achieve zero liquid discharge in the Recycled Paper Industry while explaining and introducing their technologies. These technologies help paper mills in treating their wastewater and therefore support a cleaner environment.
