A new paper mill starts producing Kraft paper in Gujarat in 90 to 180 GSM range

A well-designed paper has been an integrated part of life for any retail business be it garments, jewellery, cosmetics, footwear, or groceries; all of them are needed to be carried in bags. “Paper packaging is a versatile and cost-efficient method to protect, preserve, and transport a wide range of products. In addition, it can be customized to meet the customers' needs or product-specific needs. The attributes, like lightweight, biodegradability, and recyclability, are the advantages of paper packaging that make it an essential component for packaging,” Said Mr. Nalin Karnavat, Director at newly started paper, Param Kraft Pvt. Ltd.

Situated at Siddhpur, Patan (Gujarat), Param Kraft paper mills is well equipped to produce quality kraft paper for corrugation and packaging purposes. “We are feeling proud to have become part of the Indian paper industry; our aim is to become a reliable name for the end customers.  Param Kraft will work hard to deliver respectful, observant, and dynamic communication with our customers across all stages. Our main focus is to be more trustworthy and reliable in our approach. We’ve always tried to be different, a different approach to business, a different approach to customer service, a different attitude, a different culture” Mr. Karnavat said.

Param Kraft has 150 TPD installed capacity, “we have successfully rolled the paper and achieved the 130 TPD paper productions level.  Our product portfolio includes different grades of corrugated case material like kraft Paper, bleached Kraft Paper, Brown Kraft Paper, Lined Corrugated Carton Roll, and Fluting Paper which ranges from 16 to 24 BF and 90 to 180 GSM” he informed.

Param Kraft has invested approx INR 40 Cr in making paper on 4 meters finished deckle machine. “We have bought entire machine from DM Engineer except pulp mill section which has been procured from Parason Machinery. Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) has been installed by Krofta Engineering.

The new paper mill is targeting to export its 50 percent production to different overseas destinations including America, Dubai, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
Param paper mill is also planning to set up another new paper machine line under the same roof if everything goes rightly “this is our future planning, we may also tweak the existing paper machine to increase its capacity to 200 to 250 TPD” he said.
